Each & every batch of material is thoroughly tested from a LABORATORY. Both mechanical & chemical tests are thoroughly carried out before dispatch of any material to our clients. Our Inspection Team keeps a constant vigil on the following parameters:
It is thoroughly checked that all the elements are within the required norms. The material is out right rejected if there is any deviation as regards the chemical composition.
Hardness, tensile strength, elongation & yield are tested and compared with the clients' requirement. The material is dispatched only if the results are satisfactory.
Thickness, width and length (in case of cut length material) are inspected minutely. It is keenly observed, that no dimensions cross the tolerance limit.
The parameters as regards the edge are:
Slit Edge, Square Edge, Round Edge, Mill Edge.
The following points are observed:
*Rust free *Properly oiled *Free from lining, pit marks & other surface defects.
After getting the inspection report, the material becomes ready for dispatch. This intensive checking at our end, prevents the hazards of unnecessary rejection at the buyer's end.

As a result, we are constantly exchanging views with our clients & the outcome is the supply of the most suitable grade of material for a particular application.
At TSPL we have state-of-the-art Push-Pull Pickling line with capability to pickle width up to 1550 mm. Hydrochloric Acid maintained at a certain temperature is used to clean the coils. This process helps remove the rusty layers & scales from the surface and gives a bright surface finish. This processing is necessary since rust is formed on the surface of the coils at room temperature, whereas scales are formed at a high temperature during rolling in the hot strip mill.
TSPL has two 4-Hi Cold Reversing Mills with Automatic Gauge Control System, Work Roll Bending system. This process helps reduce thickness & simultaneously maintain the strips profile & flatness as well as shape & other dimensions under tolerance levels.
TSPL has batch-type annealing system with 2 furnaces using HNX atmosphere. It gives bright surface finish, uniform mechanical properties, even temperature distribution.
TSPL has two skin passing mills that can process width up to 1000mm. It helps prevent stretcher/luder lines, impart desired surface finish, control mechanical & shape as per customer requirements, oiling to avoid rust. This improves the flatness and suppresses the yield point elongation.
TSPL has Hi-speed slitting facilities with multi-slit cutting up to width as low as 6mm. These lines ensure no slitting burr as well as maintain close camber tolerances. Coils are slit by length and side trims are removed to obtain a uniform width throughout the coil.
TSPL has two shearing lines for precision blanking at high speeds. Shearing converts Coils/Strips into sheets as per customer requirements.

Galvanised Steel Round Wires and Galvanised Steel Formed Wire, (popularly know as armouring flat wire strips) are majorly consumed by Power Cable and Telephone Cable manufactures for armouring of their cables. In addition to cable grade, we also manufacture commercial grade or any specific grade required by our customer. We are also producing and supplying Low Carbon Mild Steel Un-galvanised Wires drawn into various sizes.
